Penalty against prepayment : Collateral Loan, sub-collateral loan, or credit enhanced loan
When the borrower prepaid the loan principal in full within 3 years from the date of loan disbursement, and asked the Bank to issue the Loan Settlement Certificate or the Agreement of Loan lien release, the Bank may request the borrower to pay the penalty against prepayment in accordance with the following terms and conditions agreed: 1. When prepaying the loan principal in full within the first year from the date of loan disbursement, the borrower has to pay the penalty against prepayment calculated based on 1% of the accumulated principal prepaid, excluding the principal repaid in accordance with the repayment schedule, within 3 months prior to the date of applying the release of loan lien. 2. When prepaying the loan principal in full within the second year from the date of loan disbursement, the borrower has to pay the penalty against prepayment calculated based on 0.75% of the accumulated principal prepaid, excluding the principal repaid in accordance with the repayment schedule, within 3 months prior to the date of applying the release of loan lien. 3. When prepaying the loan principal in full within the third year from the date of loan disbursement, the borrower has to pay the penalty against prepayment calculated based on 0.5% of the accumulated principal prepaid, excluding the principal repaid in accordance with the repayment schedule, within 3 months prior to the date of applying the release of loan lien.

Penalty against prepayment : Unsecured Loan
When the borrower prepaid the loan principal in full within 2 years from the date of loan disbursement and asked the Bank to issue the Loan Settlement Certificate, the Bank may request the borrower to pay the penalty against prepayment in accordance with the following terms and conditions agreed: 1. When prepaying the loan principal in full within the first year from the date of loan disbursement, the borrower has to pay the penalty against prepayment calculated based on 1% of the accumulated principal prepaid, excluding the principal repaid in accordance with the repayment schedule, within 3 months prior to the date of applying the Loan Settlement Certificate. 2. When prepaying the loan principal in full within the second year from the date of loan disbursement, the borrower has to pay the penalty against prepayment calculated based on 0.75% of the accumulated principal prepaid, excluding the principal repaid in accordance with the repayment schedule, within 3 months prior to the date of applying the Loan Settlement Certificate.

P.S.
The application fee will remain at NT5,000 when the mortgage loan is applied in accordance with “Guidelines governing the bidding the auctioned real estate from the Court or a fair third party.” If the auction real estate is the collateral owned by the Bank, the application fee might be free of charge.
